Operation Take Up Space: Come March With Us (Or Help Make It Happen)
Well… Lindsey’s at it again.
This time, she looked at a map of North Carolina and thought, “We should probably walk across that.” 
With less than 100 days until the midterm elections, Operation Take Up Space is about more than walking 300+ miles. It’s about showing that change happens when ordinary people choose to show up for one another.
This women veteran-led march is open to everyone. Beginning during the September 11 anniversary weekend in Asheville and ending October 3 in Wilmington, we’ll connect communities across North Carolina, support local organizations, and demonstrate what ethical leadership, community, and people power look like in action.
The march will conclude with a nationwide Take Up Space Day of Action, inviting communities everywhere to host local events and prove that hope, courage, and community are contagious.
You don’t have to walk 300 miles to make a difference.
We’re looking for people to:
• Walk a few miles or a few days with us.
• Drive a support vehicle.
• Help with meals, logistics, or event coordination.
• Volunteer at community events.
• Lend your skills behind the scenes before or during the march.
Whether you have three weeks, three days, or three hours, there’s a place for you.
