Low impact cardio for people with knee pain. Hear us on today’s presentation to discover from Dr. Gianmichael Salvato 5 low impact cardio exercises for people with knee pain.
Is Low-Impact Cardio Effective?
If you’re new to working out, just getting back into the game, or have concerns with joints, like knee-pain, or other injuries, low–impact cardio is a safe and effective method of exercise. Low-impact exercises focus on keeping one foot on the ground and alleviating stress or pressure on your joints.
Even the American Senior Communities agrees, stating:
Low impact exercises for seniors are especially helpful, as many seniors suffer from chronic conditions like osteoarthritis or osteoporosis that cause the pain in the bones and joints mentioned above. Plus, research shows that low impact activities actually can be just as effective as high-impact workouts like aerobics or running at lowering the risk of heart disease. Some low impact workouts can even assist in the healing and recovery of damaged joints.

Professional advice is key…
Seek the advice of a professional, like the “Knee Pain Guru“, Bill Parravano for instruction on ways to alleviate knee pain, and return to a place of comfort; or Dr. Gianmichael Salvato, if you’re looking for ways to reduce cortisol, inflammation and give the body what it needs to begin to heal from the inside.
I truly enjoyed listening to the both of you. I am suffering from knee pain due to arthritis and bone on bone. I am looking for some type of excercise. My question is, how about a stationary bike. Will that do more harm. Please advise.
Suzanne
You’re going to have to try out the stationary bike and see how that feels for you. If it makes your knees feel better than great, if not then “No Bueno” and we’ll need to go from there…
